Biblical Studies

I have been studying in the field of biblical studies since 2005. In that time, I've attended 6 different schools and completed three degrees. I hold a B.A. in Christian Ministry from Leavell College, a Masters in Christian Studies from Union University and a Th.M. in Old Testament from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). I am presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Interpretation from NOBTS with a minor in Biblical Languages.
Since graduating with a masters in Christian studies from Union University, I have taught eight different collegiate courses ranging from the “Old Testament Survey” to “Contemporary Theology.” Candidly, my first love is teaching Biblical / Covenantal theology, and I have also developed a deep affection for teaching Contemporary Christianity.

My research interest consists of biblical hermeneutics, critical methods of interpretation, biblical theology, and biblical backgrounds. The following table provides a helpful though not restrictive guide to topics and events that I am prepared to speak on and write upon at your request:
  • Denominationalism
  • Biblical Interpretation
  • Expository Preaching
  • Multi-Ethnic Ministry
  • Covenantalism
  • Biblical Backgrounds
  • Contemporary Theology
  • Spiritual Disciplines
  • Discipleship
